So on Saturday I went into Ocean Beach to a bar called Dream Street to see our good friend Andrew Bo Luddy's new band Albatross Overdrive. I got there a little early so I got to see a couple of the opening acts (who sucked) and I was beginning to wonder what I was in for. When AO started playing I was very pleasantly relieved...they didn't suck. In fact they were really good. I would call it rock and blues with hints of funk. I also got a tour of their tour bus (Oh Susannah) which has been owned by the likes of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Conway Twitty and Tanya Tucker...pretty cool. I think I saw that they play up in Brentwood next month...you bay area faggs should check them out if you can.
